Olivia Kurz

Olivia Kurz is a PhD student at State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry (SUNY ESF). She grew up in Falmouth, Cape Cod, MA. She worked for seven years as an early childhood nature, gardening, and science educator, and also spent time working in horticulture, nurseries, and natural resource management in the Bay Area, California. Her research interests include mycorrhizal fungi in Atlantic white cedar swamps in Southeastern MA and native plant propagation of culturally significant and rare plants.
