Volunteer River Herring Monitoring at Beaver Dam Brook and Manomet Brook

This could be the week that we see herring! Here's why that seems very possible:
1) In all the previous count years from 2019 onward, the first herring were seen this week.
2) Herring have been seen in other runs, most importantly in Town Brook (check out the live camera here: Fish Camera | Plymouth, MA (plymouth-ma.gov)
3) The weather is really warming up and the water is too. It's not consistently above 10 degrees C but that's going to happen very soon!
