Lyn Watts
I am a hydrologist and PhD student at UMass Amherst. Since 2020, I have been studying the role groundwater plays in freshwater wetland restoration. We are answering questions around how water is moving through these wetlands, and how that changes over time in response to restoration and changing climate. Our research tools include isotope geochemistry, distributed temperature sensing, and drone mapping.
